The 2U 2412 is the ideal case for a small and cheap server solution.

With its excellent quality and finish, Inter-Tech established the basis for a very variable case.

The 2U 2412 offers the possibility to install maximal twelve 2.5" or 3.5" Hot-Swap, two 2.5" or one 3.5" HDD. The 2U 2412 has four 80mm fans, which are mounted directly at the back of the drive brackets and ensure a reliable and optimal cooling.

Additional extras like the reusable and perforated slot brackets, the USB 3.0 connectors and the lid with the snap lock round off the picture.

For the use of the backplanes in this product we recommend controllers of the manufacturers Avago^® (formerly LSI^®) and Areca^®.

Please note!
The included backplanes only support SAS-Controller with SFF-8087 connection!
In operation with S-ATA-Controllers, please order the optional available SFF8087 cross-over cables in right quantity.
For controllers with other connections, you find appropriate cables here: Cable program.

Note!
By use in combination with an Intel^® Onboard S-ATA-Controller the Controller has to be set to RAID-Mode (Hot-Plug will be set automatically) or every port separately to Hot-Plug / external Port (depends on your BIOS).
If these settings are not available in your BIOS, maybe an error-free use is only possible by using an additional S-ATA-Controller.
